De liner-notes in het boekje zijn een meer uitgebreide, diepgravender versie van het 1987-hoofdstuk in mijn boek Prince: The Dutch Experience. In de liner-notes wordt het volledige verhaal verteld van de bijna terloopse manier waarop de film in juni 1987 in de Rotterdamse Ahoy’ tot stand kwam en hoe daar allerlei Nederlandse geluidstechnici bij betrokken raakten.
In de documentaire zijn Michiel Hoogeboezem en Gert de Bruijn te zien, zij vertellen daarin over hun ervaringen. Zelf ben ik als ‘Prince expert’ in de documentaire te zien, die tussen oud-bandleden, editors, podiumdesigners en geluidstechnici het overkoepelende perspectief vertelt.
